Corporal Stoddard Cady served with 8th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Stoddard Cady was born on July 28, 1752 in Pomfret, Windham County, Connecticut Colony. His parents were Ezekiel Cady and Abigail Stoddard. [citation needed]

He married Abigail Marsh. [3] [4]

  6. James Cady, b. Nov. 12, 1789 in Brookfield.[5]
  7. Charles Cady, b. July 28, 1791 in Brookfield.[5]
  8. Sarah Cady, b. Feb. 10, 1793 in Warren.[6]
  9. Abigal Cady, b. April 15, 1795 in Warren.[6]
