Note Gordon was a sheet metal and heating contractor for more than 50 years and in partnership for 39 of those years with John Gustin. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a long-standing member of the Owls Club and the Odd Fellows Club. Gordon served on the Baraboo Fire Department for approximately 10 years beginning in 1941. Gordon served approximately 15 years at the time of his death on the Baraboo Police and Fire Commission. In April 1988 he was re-elected to another five year term. On May 2 1988, he tendered his resignation with the commission for health reasons. Gordon died May 11, 1988. ============= Wisconsin State Journal Friday, March 20, 1936 Madison, Wisconsin, United States Of America Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ruda, Greenfield, have announced the marriage of their daughter, Eleanor, to Gordon Caflisch of Fair- field, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Caflisch. The marriage took place at Rockford, Ill ., some time ago. Mr. and Mrs. Caflisch are making their home here.
