Biography

Charles Cahill was born in Appalachia, in Pennsylvania.

Charles was born in 1883.^[1]In 1900, he was living with his parents in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. ^[2]He married Hattie (Hilliard) Cahill in 1905. ^[3] They had a son, James Cahill. In 1917, he registered for the draft in Pittsburgh, PA. He was working as a policeman in that city at the time.^[4] In 1920, Charles was still living and working as a policeman in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He had 5 children at the time. ^[5] In 1930, Charles was a Police Lieutenant in the City of Pittsburgh, living there with his wife and 4 of his children. ^[6] Charles passed away in 1948. He is buried near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
