Susannah Cahill was born on 13 Feb 1820 in City of London, England, United Kingdom, daughter of Dennis Cahill and Mary Elizabeth Westall.
Susannah married Gamaliel Butler on 14 Jun 1846 in St Andrew by the Wardrobe with St Ann Blackfriars, London, England. [1]

Susannah died in 1887 in Wandsworth, Surrey, England aged ~67.
In 1841, Susanna was working at the “White Hart” in Giltspur Street as a servant, and it may be a coincidence, but living in the same premises was a William Butler, journeyman baker. His age, rounded in the census, was given as twenty-five, suggesting that he was one or other of the two cousins of Gamaliel, these were William the son of his uncle William, or William the son of his uncle James.
