Biography

Nathaniel was the son of William Cahoon of Ballybriest. [1]

He was the father of a child of legal name Joseph Crooks (b. abt. 1866), who went by Joseph Cahoon. [2]

On 4 Aug 1868 at Orritor Presbyterian, Kildress, he married Catherine Bell of Ballynasollus, daughter of William Bell, farmer. Witnessed by John Ferguson and William Bell. [3]

He passed away 1 Aug 1886 "age 40" at Ballybriest. Attended by William Cahoon, father. [1]

Research Notes

The 1886 death record says age 40; although this tree give 1831 (no source).
