Roger was born before 1135. He was the son of Simon Cailly. He passed away before 1199.

Research Notes

Roger may be the Roger de Cailly who in 1155 witnessed a deed of the Empress Matilda confirming a gift of Oelard de Cleis to the church of St John of Foucarmont, not far from Cailly in Normandy.[1]
