The father, Cornelius Cain (1773-abt.1850) (son of Daniel Cain and Susannah Custer married Margaret Sleethe 1808), is not correct and has been disconnected.

With a birth and marriage in Rockingham County, if correct, a more likely candidate for father is a Cornelius Cain (abt.1760-abt.1840), not a known descendant of Nicholas and Catherine Cain, who has a marriage record of 17 August 1790 in Rockingham County with a Sarah Hyatt thought to have been from Maryland (not Connecticut). Note that Cornelius Cain (abt.1760-abt.1840) has no proven children.

Note also that these children of Cornelius, Jr. and Ann Kiblinger are similar to the given names used by Nicholas Cain and his descendants, so a family connection is possible, just not known.
