Biography
Charles Cake was born in Dorset, England.
Charles Cake was baptised in Winterbourne Came, Dorset on 9 October 1842, he was the son of David and Maria Cake. [1]. His birth was registered in Q3 1842. [2]
He married Sarah Ann Winsor in Blandford in 1870 [3]
Charles was a grocer throughout all of his life, starting as an assistant in the 1860's, and as a provision dealer almost until he died in 1914.
Charles passed away in Sturminster Newton on 18 December 1914, he was 72 years old [4]
