- John Hales Calcraft (1796-1880) was the son of John Calcraft and Elizabeth Hales. He passed away in 1880.
- He married Lady Caroline Catherine Montagu, daughter of William Montagu, 5th Duke of Manchester and Lady Susan Gordon, on the 13th of February 1828.
- He held the office of Member of Parliament for Wareham for the following years (1820 - 1826) (1832 - 1841) (1857 - 1859).
- He lived at Rempstone Hall, Dorset, England.
- He died aged 83 in 1880
