Most - in not every - profile you have created since November has been a duplicate. Please exercise more care when adding profiles to WikiTree - especially those that relate to Mayflower passengers; most of the profiles from the first 5-6 generations are already on WikiTree. I also noticed that you didn't add quality sources, which is required. Please re-review the Pre-1700 Certification Quiz to re-familiarize yourself with sourcing requirements.

Thank you, S Willson, Arborists

Carole, I see that you have created an entire line back to the Mayflower using FamilySearch as your source. Please keep in mind that most "notable" ancestors, like the Mayflower passengers, already have profiles here on Wikitree, and we want to avoid creating duplicate profiles. There are several pending merges that require your approval so we can bring this extra branch back in line with the main tree. Thank you.

Hi Carole

Thanks  for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz

As Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure there is a location and that the location data matches dates of profiles, avoid abbreviations, add citations & links for sources to support the data, please review these pages   Reliable Pre-1700 Sources  and   Help Sources   for Pre-1700 as well as  United States reliable sources. Some of the profile you created have no locations or proper sources so please work to improve these profiles I did some work on as a start, but a lot more can be done to tell her life story.

The United States Project and its subprojects for each state, would be of interest. Adding the tag UNITED_STATES will connect you  Follow this link for  your tags  This prorject has sub projects  for each State and each of those have their own subprojects for counties.

Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus.

Hello Again,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger

PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to this link. RootsSearch. There are 24 different websites available and most are free. Give it a try!

Thank you for volunteering. You are now a full member of WikiTree.

Start with the New Member How-To Pages - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around:

Let me know if you require assistance. I am happy to help. After adding my own family and ancestors I have found many cousins and distant ancestors here on WikiTree.
