Sarah and her twin brother James were born in 1755, the children of William Caldwell and Rebecca Walkup. [1][2]
Sarah married Dr. ____ Martin of Newberry. [1][3][4]
Note: Stallworth idendifies him as "Dr. James Martin," [5] but early sources name him only as "Dr. Martin."
Sarah is presumed to have died before her mother wrote her will in 1799, since Rebecca did not mention Sarah with her sisters; only Sarah's daughter named Sarah. [6]
