Biography

Nathaniel was born in 1769. He is the son of Joseph Calef and Hannah Pettingill.

He served in Capt. Joseph Kimball's company in the War of 1812.

Nathaniel married Elizabeth Hall, and they had ten children.

  3. Hannah, born 27 Mar 1795, died 24 Aug 1835

  6. Abigail, born 23 May 1803
  7. John Hall, born 21 Dec 1805
  8. Sarah, born 28 Feb 1808
  9. Drucilla, born 9 Dec 1810, died 24 Aug 1865
  10. Betsy, born 28 Nov 1815, died 17 Aug 1865

Nathaniel passed away in 1849. He is buried in Methodist Hill Cemetery in East Plainfield, New Hampshire.
