Christian Calhoun was born May 1833, in Kibbee, Montgomery County, Georgia, the daughter of Burrell Rogers Calhoun and Marion Eleanor (Darley) Calhoun[1]. In 1850 she lived in Montgomery County, Georgia with her parents and siblings[2].

In 1860 they lived in Tattnall County, Georgia with their children Perry, Lucy Ann, and Mary Ann[5]. They were still in Tattnall in 1870 with children Perry, Lucy, Mary, Leander, George, Margaret, and Elmira living at home[6]. They were in Emanuel County, Georgia in 1880 with Lucy, Mary, Leander, George P., Margaret, Eliana, William D., Matthew and Emma at home[7].
She died 12 December 1912 in Emanuel County, Georgia and was buried in Collins Cemetery, Oak Park, Emanuel County, Georgia[1].
