Alexander was born in 1767. Alexander Calhoun ... He passed away in 1825.
It seems the details of the son of Alexander Calhoun and Rachel Crawford may not be correct. It seems more likely by the reference information that Alexander and Rachel only had one son name Crawford Colquhoun.
Alexander was born about 1740. His family were from Crosh House. He was the third son of Rev Alexander Colquhoun and Margaret Hazlitt. He married Rachel Crawford a daughter of Captain Francis Crawford of Cooly, by Isabella, his wife daughter of Robert Lowry, of Aheenis, and aunt of the first Lord Belmore and had issue one son and four daughters.
