Jim Calhoun, 64, Found Dead On Farm
Funeral services for James William Calhoun, 64, Golden Pond, will be at 2pm tomorrow at Goodwin Funeral Home, Cadiz.
Officiating will be the Rev. J. Norman Ellis, pastor of Cadiz Baptist Church. Burial will be in East End Cemetery.
Mr. Calhoun was found dead at about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon on a farm near his home, where he had gone to dig fishing worms. His death, apparently caused by a heart attack, was discovered by Bob Litchfield, who was working in adjoining field.
Mr. Calhoun, who had been ill with heart ailment for two years, was a retired employee of the Caterpillar plant at Peoria, Ill. He was a member of Woodman of the World and Cumberland Baptist Church in Trigg County.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mauline LaNeve Calhoun; two daughters, Mrs. William Hunter, East Peoria, Ill., and Miss Judy Calhoun, Golden Pond; a son, Jasper Calhoun, Golden Pond; a brother, A.A. Calhoun, Eddyville, and four grandchildren.
He was buried at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, Kentucky.
