Biography

Mary was born on 8 Sep 1720 in Hebron Township, Tolland, Connecticut Colony to John Calkins and Katherine (Foster) Calkins^[1] She married Asa Rood and they were the parents of Mehitable, b. 1740 in Lebanon, New London, Connecticut.^[2] Asa died soon after their marriage.

She married (2) Rowland Sweetland in 1741.^[3]

Mary died on 11 Jun 1782 in Sharon, Litchfield, Connecticut, United States. She was 62 years of age.^[4][3]
