John Call was born on 16 April 1739 in Oxford, Worcester, Massachusetts. He was the son of Samuel Call and Abigail Sprague.[1] John passed away 14 April 1808, possibly in Colerain, Franklin, Massachusetts. His burial site is unknown.[2] (Alternate death year 1821.)

He married Martha Safford in about 1762 in Oxford.

In 1800 John was living in Colrain, Hampshire, Massachusetts.[3]

John Call was a patriot for Massachusetts in the American Revolution. Served with rank of private for Captains Lawrence Kemp (Hampshire County, Massachusetts Militia), Hugh McClallen and Colonels Leonard, Field and Wells. [4]
