Biography

James Callahan was born in County Donegal, Ireland in about 1754. (Some sources say he was born in Pennsylvania or North Carolina.) He died in 1824 in Iredell County, North Carolina and is buried at the Snow Creek Methodist Church Cemetery.[1]

Spouse: Mary (Wasson) Callahan (1760-1824), married in 1783 in Rowan County, North Carolina[2]
