The family is living in Henry County, Georgia in 1850. Living with them is Mary's mother, Martha, age 65 and Irene W. Martin, age 19, who is either Mary's sister or her daughter. Irene's death certificate says that her mother was Mary Marten and her father was H. W. Callahan. [2]
Harrison was a sergeant in the Civil War with the 4th Regiment, Georgia Reserves. [3]
