Biography
Augustus was born on 18 July 1826 in Bedford, Bedford, Tennessee, United States. He was the son of Thomas Bruce Callen and Jane Clemintine (West) Callen.[1]
Augustus Gideon married Sarah Cardeala Ayers on 1 or 11 September 1849.
Military Service: 2 September 1862 in Arkansas.[2]
Military Service: 15 May 1863 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.[1]
Augustus died at the age of 91 on 26 January 1918 in Farewell, Carroll, Arkansas.[1][2] He was buried at Denver, Carroll County, Arkansas.[3]
