Jane (Calloway) Philp was born in Cornwall, England.

Jane was born about 1788. Daughter of John Calloway and Jane

She was Baptised on 27 December 1788 at St. Kew, Cornwall, England.[1]

Richard Philp from Endellyon married Jane Calloway on 27 July 1812 at St. Kew, Cornwall, England. Witnesses Guy Warwick and Henry Pollard. Banns published 12 July, 19 July and 26 July 1812. Bride and groom signed with a mark. [2] [3]

On 6 June 1841 the Philp family lived in Port Quin, St Endellion, Cornwall. Richard Philp (50) Ag Labourer with wife Jane Philp (50), daughter Jane Philp (13) and son James Philp (12). [4] As did his son John Philp (25) with family and daughter Cordelia Collings (20) with family. In 1841 Port Quin had 23 cottages with 94 inhabitants.

On 30 March 1851 the Philp family lived in Port Quin, St Endellion, Cornwall. Richard Philp (66) Farm Labourer with wife Jane Philp (64), and son James Philp (22). [5] As did his son John Philp (35) with family and daughter Cordelia Collings (35) with family.

On 7 April 1861 Richard Philp (75) Ag Labourer and his wife Jane Philp (74) lived in Port Quin, Endellion, Cornwall, England. [6] As did their sons James Philp (30) and family & widower John Philp (48).

On 2 April 1871 widow Jane Philp (88) Ag Labourer's wife lived in Port Quin, Cornwall, England with granddaughters Cordelia Philp (11) & Sarah Collings (15). [7]

She passed away in 1874, aged 91 [8] and was buried at the St. Endellion Churchyard. [9]
