Hi Michele,

You made a comment on Catherine de Baillon's profile about a link. That link no longer works. Perhaps you should delete the comment or update the link?https://acgs.org/Download/ACGS_Baillon_1999.pdf

Hi,

You left a brief note about Simon Benjamin's d.o.b. I see what you're talking about and I will look into the problem and fix it. But I'm not the PM of Simon. Maybe should have told them to fix it. I adopted the Benjamin profile and haven't had a chance to go over all the information. I will make it a priority today.

Regarding Pierre Rivard. It’s is my understanding that he is the father of both Nicolas and Robert who immigrated to New France. I entered baptismal records for Robert indicating that he is the father

Hello Michèle,

I thouht is was a typo. I often, when typing too fast make these kind of errors, like reversing letter's order. I have alwyas seen it written Cyprien and sometimes Ciprien. Live and learn.

Hi, Michelle, I added some commentary and sources on Pépin-118. To keep everything in the same place, you might want to check out what was added. Let me know if you'd like to have the images posted.

Michelle, thanks for adding that interesting category Double in-law marriages. I've seen that happen quite a bit in Quebec, but didn't know we had an actual category for it.

Bonjour Miche’le

I of course agree that being fluent in French would help, but I’ve confronted that problem before in Quebec. I’m willing to struggle through interpreting what I find. What I’m hoping to find is others to really work at discovery of the vital church/cemetery/birth/ marriage records. Thank you again. Dave
