Amos Harry Calvin was born on September 25, 1886, in Lincoln, Nebraska to William Perry and Nora (Clancy) Calvin. He served in the military during World War I. He died on July 5, 1950 at the age of 63 and was buried in Fort Lyon National Cemetery in Fort Lyon, Colorado.
