Biography

Henry was born about 1831 the son of Thomas Came a fisherman, and Charlotte (Dowden) Came, and he was christened on the 25th July 1831 at All Saints, Huntspill, Somerset.^[1]

1841 Census on the 6th June 1841 Henry was living with his parents Thomas and Charlotte, and his siblings Eliza, Fanny, Albert and Alfred. Ann Dowden, aged 20, was also living there.^[2]

Henry married Jane Masters and his marriage was registered in the 2nd quarter 1858 in Bridgwater, Somerset.^[3]

1861 Census on the 7th April 1861 Henry was living in Bridgwater, Somerset with his wife Jane.^[4]

1871 Census on the 2nd April 1871 Henry was living in Bridgwater, Somerset with his wife Jane, and their children Emily, Ellen, Albert, Thomas, Ella, William, Elizabeth and Alice.^[5]
