Biography

Allan was born about 1839 in Upper Canada. ^{[1] [2]} He farmed with his family until he was on his own in 1881. ^{[3] [4] [5] [6]}

He died in 1885 and was buried in Maxville Cemetery in Maxville, Ontario. His wife, Mary Cameron was remembered on the gravestone. ^[7]
