Biography
A SUDDEN DEATH. SUPERINTENDENT CAMERON OF DELORAINE.
Mr James Cameron, superintendent of the Deloraine police, died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock, The deceased was in his usual health on Monday, and in the evening at home he had a game at cards with his youngest son.
He retired to bed at 10 o'clock saying that he felt slightly unwell. His illness developed into a severe attack of cramp in the stomach, and his medical attendant, Dr. Frank Cole, was called in during the early hours of the morning, but he could afford but little help, death taking place about 4 o'clock in the morning.
The deceased was a native of Dundee, Scotland, and came to the colonies with his young wife, who survives him to lament her loss, [1]
