Angus was 'baptised on 3 May 1828 at Kilmallie. Angus was the son of Angus Cameron, a Shepherd an Isabella McPherson.
Angus also became a Shepherd and later worked as a Crofter.
In 1857 aged 29, Angus married by Banns at Ballachulish and Corran Of Ardgour to Mary McLean aged 21. Eleven known children were born in their marriage. Two likely died in their infancy, Jean and Angus.
Angus settled his family in Lismore & Appin and in 1861 were living at Achtrichaden House. They next moved to Leicintrum Glencoe and later Keil. By 1901 Angus and Mary were resident at Crofters House.
Angus Cameron died in 1902 aged 74 of Dropsey. His son Angus was informant of his death.
