Source: Details: Anne Moores will was dated April 11, 1788 and probated February 13, 1792 Probate Records: Louisa County, Virginia Will Book 3, page 471 Citation Text: "In the name of God, Amen: I Anne Moore of the County of Louisa being in perfect health and senses do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament after my debts and funeral expenses are paid. I give and bequeath whatever I may be possessed of to my great-granddaughter, Theodosia, the daughter of Ann Bunch to her and her heirs as the only compensation in my power to make her for her dutiful attention to me in my old age. I appoint the above named Theodosia my whole and sole Executrix hereby revoking all other wills heretofore made. In testimony wherof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of April 1788. Signed: Anne Moore, Published in the presence of: William Walker and John Morris At a court held for Louisa County February 13th 1792 this will was this day in open court proved to be the act and deed of Anne Moore by the oaths of William Walker and John Morris, two of the witnesses thereto and by the Court ordered to be recorded.
