Elizabeth (Camm) Morse was born in Gloucestershire, England.
Elizabeth was born in Bream (a village in the Forest of Dean), Gloucestershire, England, on December 16, 1871.[1] Her birth was registered in the first quarter of 1872 in Monmouth. She was the daughter of William Camm and Cora Fanny Kear and was baptised on 6 Oct 1878. The family lived in Bream and William was a Grocer. [2]
Elizabeth married Thomas Morse in Bristol, [3] on August 18, 1892, at St Mary Redcliffe.[4] The couple would have eight children between 1894 and 1906.
In 1911 at the age of 39 Elizabeth was widowed and she lived with 8 of her children at Forest View House, Bream, which had 5 rooms. She had been married for 15 years and had 8 children, all surviving until 1911. Her oldest 2 children, aged 16 and 14 were in work, a labourer at the Colliery and as a Dressmaker. [5]
In 1939 Elizabeth (then retired) and daughter Hilda lived in Bristol, at 48 Beverley Road. [6] Her son Thomas and his wife also lived in Bristol.
Elizabeth passed away in 1968.[7] Her death was registered in the first quarter in Bristol.
