Giovanni Cammarata, son of Giuseppe Cammarata and Giuseppa Gagliano, marries Lucia Jovino, daughter of Filippo Jovino and Maria di Palermo, on 27 February 1892.[1]

Giovanni's sister-in-law, Biagia, is married to the Mafia capo Michaelangelo Gennaro. Giovanni is named among known members of the Mafia in Corleone, around 1900.[2]
