Biography

William Davis Camp was born in Winslow, NJ on July 2, 1841. His grave marker at the Spring Hill Cemetery says that he passed away on Nov 12, 1921

Son of Ephraim and Rebecca Wescott Camp.When at the age of nine his parents moved to Pittsburgh, PA. He became a glass blower. He worked in Pittsburgh and New Castle, PA and Bellaire, Ohio. He located in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, where he was factory of Camp Glass Company. He is a Republican and served on the common council of Bellaire. He married Mary Ann Lloyd, born in New Castle-on-Tyme, England, October, 1909, daughter of George Lloyd, born in New Castle on Tyne, an iron worker in his native land and in Pittsburgh, PA, later a farmer in Lawerence county PA.

He died in New Castel, PA in 1898. His wife, Rebecca (Fellows) Lloyd, born in England in 1814, died in New Castle, PA......REFERENCE - SEE:
