Mimi accompanied the family on the Hawaii trip in 1920.[1][2] Her passport was issued on June 15, 1921, the same day as for her brother and sister.[3] In 1922 she travelled to Europe with her mother and brother, returning on the "Aquitania" on May 19th.[4] On December 30th of the same year, she married Charles Stradella in Manhattan, New York.[5] Charles was a Yale classmate of Marjorie's brother Donald.[6] Charles was an executive with GMAC. He would eventually become the CEO of the company and hold a place on the GM Board of Directors.
Mimi died in 1980 and is buried in the Addison Rural Cemetery in Steuben County, New York.[7]
