Michael was born in 1927.
CAMPBELL, Michael Stewart 1927 - 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Michael Stewart Campbell, at the age of 88. Devoted husband to Lise Rachel Bedard Campbell for 62 years. Dad had the courage of a lion and the most generous of hearts. He would tend a helping hand to all who asked for his help. His loving and caring nature has served as an inspiration to both myself Lizabeth Campbell (Guy Pelletier) and my brother Michael John Fitzgerald Campbell (Celine Cochrane), as well as to his grandsons Charles Cochrane Campbell, David Cochrane Campbell and Patrick Stewart Campbell Pelletier. He leaves us to return to his original family; his mother Stella Cleary Campbell, his father Francis Campbell and his sisters and brothers Claire, Patricia, Kelva, Cletus, Cleary, Wilbert and Hilaire Campbell. Dad believed that you live and let live, one day at a time. Join us for a celebration of his life in the form of an Irish wake. The cremation will be held at the Girardot and Menard Crematorium. The family will receive condolences on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at GIRARDOT & MENARD FUNERAL HOME 470, DUFFERIN STREET GRANBY J2G 9G2 Phone: 450-372-4498 Fax: 450-372-2738 e-mail: complexe@girardot-menard.com A celebration will be held at the chapel at noon. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Forms will be available at the reception of the funeral complex.
