Biography

Alexander was born in September 1842 on the ISLAND St Helena, To John and Ann Campbell. One of the Campbell Ancestors Carried Napoléon Bonaparte Coffin Which confirms that he was born on the Island of St Helena Alexander Went to South Africa and married Elizabeth Lang in East London 1875 .

He was a Farmer in Barkly East in the eastern Cape, he then gave his Farm away for an Antique Pipe. he then went to live with his son Arthur Donald in Babanango Natal South Africa. where he died. Proof is on the Death Certificate.

Alexander Campbell is shown on his childrens birth Certificates was just Alexander. and on his death Certificate where his son Arthur Donald signed. Baptism certificate very unclear. Have not added but if More sources needed will add. [1]
