There was only one Angus Campbell in his 60ies in the 1881 Census of Prince Edward Island with a wife Christy, Angus Campbell age 67, wife Christy, age 70.
Also in the household were Janet Campbell, age 36; John Morrison, age 17; and Flora Campbell, age 26. They were in Lot 21. Both Angus and Christy were born in Scotland.
Unfortunately, Lot 21 was not covered in the 1891 Census of Canada.
Angus Campbell had 49 acres in Lot 21, Index to the 1870 Commissioner of Public Land's Report in the Journal of the Legislative Assembly, PEIGS, 1998. This property was still in Angus' name in Meachum's Atlas in Lot 21, in Granville. In Cummins' Atlas (c. 1928) the property was under the name Corbett. Maps on Island Imagined website.
According to Find a Grave, their daughter Hannah married a Corbett. [1]
Janet Campbell, age 62, born Scotland, was a lodger with Robert and Hannah Corbett in 1901.
Angus didn't leave a will.
Hannah's death record said her parents were Angus Campbell and Christy Morrison, and that they were born in Scotland. [2]
Quite possible Angus and Christy were married in Scotland.
