Biography

On 28 Jun 1860 at the time of the 1860 US Census, head of household William F. Campbell (age 29, born in PA) was employed as a Farmer with real estate valued at $1,400 and personal estate valued at $343 and living in Middleton, Ohio with his wife Phoebe Campbell (age 24, born in OH); daughter Mary J. Campbell (age 2, born in OH); and son Wilbur T. Campbell (age 6 months, born in OH). Living on the farm adjacent to theirs was Robert Campbell (age 60, born in PA) and his wife Sarah Campbell (age 51, born in OH) and seven of their children (Cyrus 20; Margaret E. 18; Faithful F. 16; Robert C. 14; Alvin B. 12; Lydia A. 10; and Rebecca A. 8). [1]

At the time of the 1870 US Census, head of household Wm A Campbell (age 41, born in Ohio) was occupied as a Farmer with real estate valued at $6,000 and personal estate valued at $1,410 and living in Middleton Township, Columbiana, Ohio with his wife, A Phebe Campbell (age 33, born in Ohio), daughter Ida Mary Campbell (age 12, born in Ohio), son E. Wilber Campbell (age 10, born in Ohio), son R. Alfred Campbell (age 8, born in Ohio), and daughter E. Clara Campbell (age 5, born in Ohio). [2]
