Isaac Campbell was baptized 3 Aug 1735 in Voluntown in the Connecticut Colony of British Colonia America.[1] He is often reported to have been born about 1730.[2]

He was married to Ann Dixson on 11 Dec 1755 by Rev. Joseph Fish of Stonington.[3]

A year later, on 30 Dec 1756, the couple gave birth to a daughter, Agnes.[4]

In 1758, Isaac appeared on the muster rolls for Connecticut soldiers fighting in the French and Indian War.[5] He was part of the Third Regiment's Seventh Company led by Captain Benjamin Lee.

Isaac was one of the very early settlers of the Wyoming Valley. He appeared on the tax list for Hanover District, Westmoreland Co., Connecticut Colony in 1776. Hanover is in what is now Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

He was a private in the local militia during the Revolutionary War and died 3 Jul 1778 at the Battle of Wyoming.[6] He is buried at the Battle of Wyoming Burial Ground [7]
