John was born in 1886 at Silver City, Pontotoc, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, the son of Charles Campbell and Sally Humphreys. John may have passed away 6 February 1929 at Bartlesville, Washington, Oklahoma, and buried at the Stokes Cemetery, Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma.
