Elaine was born in 1923. She was the daughter of James Campbell and Agnes Butzer. She passed away in 2002.

Elaine R. Dykstra, 79, of New Port Richey, Fla., and formerly of LaGrange and Plymouth, Ind., died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Mease Hospital in Dunedin.

The Mankato, Minn., native was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in LaGrange, Ind. Surviving are her husband, Clarence; daughters Laura J. Dykstra of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Nancy J. Dykstra of Princeton, N.J.; sons Mark T. of Sarasota, Robert A., M.D., and Thomas P., M.D., both of Fort Wayne, John C. of Eden Prairie, Minn., Timothy J. of LaGrange, Ind., Gary J. of Atlanta and Jay D. of Hartford, Conn.; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
