Biography

William Binnington Camplin, the son of Thos. Camplin and Mary Ann Bird, was born in Whitby, Canada West (Ontario), on May 23, 1864.[1] (His middle name, Binnington, seems to be a slight corruption of his father's, Bennington (which was the latter's mother's maiden name).) He married Jessie Schoolcroft (1866-1937) on March 25, 1884, in Beeton, Ontario.[2] He died there, of myocardial failure, on April 26, 1934,[3] and was interred on April 29 at Trinity United (Beeton United) Cemetery.[4]
