Richard Samuel was born 2 Jan 1893 at Ballybriest. He was the son of Samuel Goulding Campton and Margaret Campton. ^[1]

He passed away 12 Sep 1961 at Holywell Hospital, County Antrim. ^[2]

He was buried at Claggan Presbyterian in the family plot. ^[3] He was the last surviving son of his parents. ^[4]
