Notes
Note N1835Jeremiah Camron first appears in the 1830 census as living in Beaver County, PA. Shortly there after, he moved to Wayne County Ohio. In 1810, there is a William Camron living in South Beaver Twp., Beaver County, PA. I suspect that this William is Jeremiahs father although I have no proof at this time. He could be an uncle or some other relation. I plan to someday make a trip to Beaver County PA and do more research on this. In the 1820 census, William is still in Beaver PA In 1829 Sarah Ann Camron is born to Jeremiah and Elizabeth in Hanover Twp., Beaver PA In the 1830 census Jeremiah lives in Hanover Twp., Beaver Co. PA (very close to South Beaver Twp.) which again leads me to believe that he is related to William Camron In 1831 Jeremiah and Elizabeth's second daughter Margaret is born in Jackson Twp., Stark Co. Ohio The birthplace of Jeremiah is confusing to say the least. Here is what I have: In the 1850 census, Jeremiah says he was born in Virginia In the 1860 census he says he was born in Pennsylvania In the 1870 census he says he was born in Virginia In the 1880 census he says that both him, his father, and his mother were born in Ohio which is extremely unlikely! In the 1900 census, his son Davis claims that his father was born in New York. In the biography of W.J. Camron (History of Wayne County Ohio V II. published 1910 Bowen & Company Indianapolis Indiana) His grandson claims that Jeremiah came from Scotland. I have no idea why the information seems so confusing. It's almost like no one really knew where he was born - including Jeremiah. Finding more information about his father may give more clues to the truth. According to the 1840 census, Jeremiah's family had one additional male child under the age of 5 living in the household. It's possible that this child died as an infant or the child belonged to someone else.
The grave sites for Jeremiah Camron and Elizabeth (Andrews) Camron have not been located. It is believed that they are probably buried in the Westbarre Cemetery located in Clinton Twp., Fulton County for the following reasons:
1-Several of Elizabeths family members named Andrews are buried there
2-The cemetery is only 5 miles from their homestead
3-There are many grave stones at Westbarre that have been broken off and layed in a pile
4-In Elizabeths probate record file from the time of her death is an undertaker reciept for burial from an undertaker in Wauseon - just 4 miles from Westbarre Cemetery. This only indicates that she was more than likely buried in Fulton County Ohio

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jeremiah by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jeremiah:
