Malinda was born in 1895. She is the daughter of Freeman Canaday and Clercie Belcher. She passed away in 1980. [1]

Canada (1909-1985), Charles Edward Canada (1910-1989), Cecil Canada (B. 1912), Paul Marvin Canada (1915-1953), Clyde Wilson Canada (1917-1956), & Emmett Canada (1921-1990).
Married to Edward "Ed" Donahue (1866-1924) on Jul. 14, 1912 in Raleigh County, WV.
Mother of C. Earl Donahue (1913-1934), Lacy M. Donahue (1923-1951), Freeman Donahue (1925-1969), Alma Donahue (1918-2001), & Herndon Donahue.

Malinda or "Linda" was the eldest of 13 siblings and faithfully took care of her mother (Clarissa "Clara" Belcher-Canada) at home until she passed in 1967 at the age of 94. Linda was an excellent cook and gardener and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She died two days before her 82nd birthday at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV of congestive heart failure.
