In 1861, Lydia and Robert are recorded living in Nethergate Street, Bungay, Suffolk, England, with their daughter Esther Jane Jemima Clarke, born 1856, christened 21st August,1859 in St. Matthew, Ipswich, Suffolk, England. ^[5]

In June 1861, Lydia and Robert had another daughter, Esther Lavinia Clarke, who was christened on 12th December 1864, in St. Matthew, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.
