Biography

John Cannedy was born about 19 November 1740 in Londonderry, Donegal County, Ireland.He was the son of David Ellis Kennedy and possibly Elizabeth (Unknown) Kennedy

1768 arrival in South Carolina.

He married Anne (Haughton) Kennedy 19 November 1774 in Chowon County, North Carolina.[1][2][3]He was the father of Sarah (Kennedy) Sandlin, Martha Kennedy, James Cannedy and John Carroll Kennedy.

Kennedy-680 and Cannedy-109 appear to represent the same person because: Same Person just the "Other Spelling" used
