Margaret Cannell was born on 17 February 1807 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. She was the daughter of Hugh Cannell and Margaret Brew. Margaret was baptised on 28 October 1807 at St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.[1][2]
Marriage banns were issued on 24 April 1831 at St Matthew's, Brixton, London.[3]
In the 1851 census, she was living with her husband and family in Plumstead, Kent. Margaret was a dressmaker.[7]
Margaret Ellis died on 16 February 1860[8] at 21 Prescott Place, Plumstead, Kent, England. She was buried at St Margaret's, Plumstead, Kent on 21 Feb 1860.[9]
Probate was granted to her husband, Henderson William Ellis of 21 Prescott Place, Plumstead on 9 March 1860.[8]
