This could also be an error on the census ... Or 51 is suppose to be 61 and the 6 looks like a 5. I think it's an error and it's 61.

John was an agricultural farmer from Kirk Michael, Isle of Man. He lived in Rhen Cullen in Michael until the death of Eleanor abt 1841.He remarried Isabella Crellin and moved to the cottage Garth in Marown with a couple of children (Edward & Jane) after the death of Eleanor. Birth Citation Text: *****Census records state Johns birthplace as MICHAEL. Birth year 1795 or 1796. Therefore, he was born between 1794-1797. There are TWO John Cannell's born in this time-frame in Michael, IOM. •John Cannell, baptized Sept 1795, Michael IOM Son of Thos. Cannell & Joney Callin •John Cannell, baptized 11 Sept. 1794, Michael IOM Son of Thomas Cannell & Christian Cannon Therefore, considering that John is listed in census records as being born in 1795 or 1796 (which is closer to the son of Joney aka Judith Callin) and in addition, the fact that John Cannell & Eleanir Cain were living in Rhen Cullen in the 1841 census as well as Thomas and Judith Cannell, I believe John is MOST likely the son of Joney Callin.
