Biography

When Irwin William Canon was born on June 10, 1839, in Ohio, his father, Stephen, was 28 and his mother, Lydia, was 24. He married Clara M Lapham on June 28, 1866, in Athens, Ohio. He died on January 9, 1919, at the age of 79, and was buried in the Hopewell Cemetery in Tunas, Dallas County, Missouri,

Research Note

According to the ancestor list for Irwin, his paternal great grandfather was John CARNAHAN. Both his parents and his children seem to have used 'Cannon'.
