Biography
Carl was born 21 Aug 1928 in Newport News City, Virginia.
He was married, had a daughter, Anne Spencer but later divorced. He remarried Ruth Monroe Eggleston around 1978 when she was 55 years old, which was her first marriage.
He was a librarian which how he met Ruth at various conferences. He was also a very excellent genealogist and well documented his and Ruth's family trees. Suzanne Eggleston Lovejoy now has his Eggleston family research.
He passed away 31 Mar 1994 at home in Williamsburg City, Virginia, aged 65 after a several year battle with cancer. [1]
