Biography
Hester Elizabeth Cannon was born about 1858. She is the daughter of Elijah Cannon and Harriett Lacy. She married in 1877, which is her last record known at this time. Hester's husband, Henry F. Smith, was listed as widowed in the 1880 U.S. Census; Henry was living with his brother Isom and Isom's wife, who is Hester's younger sister Louisa Jonel. [1]
